This Privacy Policy describes how aicpmaster.com collects, uses, and protects information you provide when creating an account and using the platform. aicpmaster.com is a free, non-commercial, independent study resource. Your data is never sold or shared with third parties for commercial purposes.

When you create an account, we collect:

Full name - to personalize your account
Email address - for account authentication and notifications
Employer / company name - optional, for context during account review
Job role or title - optional, for context during account review
City - optional, for context during account review
Target exam date - optional, used to personalize your study countdown

We also automatically collect study activity data - which study notes you have read, which questions you have answered, and how much time you spend studying - to power your progress dashboard. This data is tied to your account and is not linked to your identity externally.

3. How We Use Your Information

To review and approve your account signup request
To authenticate your login sessions
To display your name in the student dashboard
To personalize your study experience (e.g., countdown to exam date)
To send account-related transactional emails (approval, rejection, notifications)
To calculate your study progress and exam readiness

4. What We Do Not Do

We do not sell your personal information to any third party.
We do not share your data with advertisers or data brokers.
We do not use your data for commercial marketing purposes.
We do not share your data with the American Planning Association (APA), AICP, or any professional organization.

5. Email Communications

Your email address is used only for account-related notifications: account approval or rejection, and any direct replies to your suggestions or reports. We do not send marketing emails, newsletters, or promotional messages. You will not be added to any mailing list.

6. Cookies and Authentication

aicpmaster.com uses cookies solely for authentication purposes - to keep you logged in across browser sessions. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies beyond the services listed below.

7. Google Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to collect anonymous, aggregated usage data - such as page views, session duration, and geographic region. This data is used to understand how the platform is being used and to improve the study experience. Google Analytics does not receive your name, email, or any personally identifiable information. You can opt out of GA4 tracking by using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

8. Data Storage and Security

All account data and study activity is stored in Supabase, a managed cloud database platform with row-level security, encrypted connections (TLS), and access controls. Your data is accessible only to you and the site administrator. We take reasonable technical measures to protect your data, but no internet-based service can guarantee absolute security.

9. Your Rights and Data Deletion

You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing howdy@aicpmaster.com with the subject line "Delete My Account." Deletion requests will be processed within 30 days. Note that anonymous, aggregated usage data (Google Analytics) cannot be individually deleted as it is not linked to your identity.

10. Children's Privacy

This platform is intended for adult professionals preparing for a professional certification exam. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18 years of age.

11. Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated at any time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
